Henderson Returns

Republic of Ireland U21 and Villa keeper Wayne Henderson has returned to Villa following his trial at Bristol City.

Henderson trained with Brian Tinnion’s first team squad last week and talks are said to be taking place between Villa and Bristol to allow Henderson to play in a behind closed doors practice game for Bristol City this week.

Manager Brian Tinnion said ‘I wouldn’t want to sign him unless I can have a look at him in a match, Wayne has gone back to Aston Villa and we will continue discussions with them. But at this stage it is unlikely anything will happen on that one.’
