With high expectations surrounding the future of Aston Villa youngster Callum O’Hare, as fans will know, he headed a few miles across the City for a spell with League One side Coventry City in the campaign of 2019/20 as he continued his development.
With a solid spell at Brunton Park in 2018/19 where he made 16 appearances for Carlisle United, returning three goals, his spell at Coventry is already off to a flyer. He made his substitute debut for them in their victory over Gillingham and he opened his account for the year with a strike against Oxford United at the end of August.
His only starts so far have come in the domestic Cup competitions (two so far), but he again made his mark this weekend as he struck the winner after coming off the bench as they took all three points from Blackpool.
Quite a tidy strike I think most fans would agree, and it’s yet another goal for a Villa man at the laughably named Trillion Trophy Stadium.

Two goals in five games for the 21-year-old is far from shabby and there should be plenty more to come from the lad. With some comparisons to Jack Grealish at that stage of his development when he went out to Notts County and seriously impressed, if O’Hare keeps this up, the expectation levels will only rise further.
Well done Callum, up the Village youth!!! Hoping that he break into the first team in coming seasons.
