I have one of those ‘so what` feelings today.

According to James Nursey at The Mirror Gerard Houllier had a second bust up in training last week following the Richard Dunne fall out (see: Revolting Players At Villa? ).

This report, which backs up the rumours already circulating, says that the other player who had a go at the Villa boss was 33-year-old Habib Beye.

Aye… and? Really, so what? He wasn`t getting on with the former boss either, maybe he should look at his own form instead of the managers not picking him?! Not good enough, will be shipped out, next….!

The report has an insider quoted saying that Houllier had set up an 8 aside and had told them no tackling or moaning!

“But Beye did not believe that this was to apply literally and was soon in dispute with the coaching staff. Habib gives his all in training and in every game. He was his usual competitive self and this was soon a problem stemming from a couple of offside decisions. There were some words exchanged and then Houllier ordered him to leave training. McAllister tried to speak to Beye as he was leaving but he was very upset.”

James also says that no one from Villa would comment on the rumour, or that Houllier has also argued with Richard Dunne, Stephen Ireland and John Carew.

I`d be more worried if Houllier was arguing or having bust ups with ‘his own` players as opposed to the previous managers squad…? He has to have time to get rid of those who don`t fit his plans and bring in those who do surely?

Brad Friedel said the points v WBA were crucial and added, “The young lads who have come in have done really well but to do it on a consistent basis for 10 or 12 games is a lot to ask. People are going to have to judge Gerard after he has had a couple of transfer windows and also once we have a full complement of players in the squad.

Seems level headed and fair that stance doesn`t it?
