Villa asked, “Has this man just scored one of the greatest Second City Derby goal?”
Deano replied, “If I caught him in bed with my Mrs, I’d ask him how he liked his eggs and stick the pan on.”
It’s got 313 likes so far, he’s talking about getting an agent! I facebooked it and it reached 1599… fair play. Not sure how his wife feels about this, although knowing her, she probably agrees!
Serious point is though, what a player he has been for us. Bombed out, brought back in, bombed out, brought back in, never moaned and when playing, he’s just never let us down. Not a world beater, he wouldn’t claim to be, but he always gives 100% and for me, that is all I ever ask of a player.
Loved his interview after the game when he said he has been here a long time and feels a real connection. He also said it sends shivers down his spine when he hears the fans singing his name. Yesterdays goal was everything the man deserved and more.
