Over four decades since we managed eight wins in a row. Can we do it again this weekend against Fulham?

I think this is accurate, done by deanovilla. We aren`t club historians so I`m sure we will get corrected if wrong. But gives us another nice record to aim for now we`ve equalled Graham Taylors seven on the trot run 28 years ago.

Deanovilla says:

Last time we won 8 in a row was under Ron Saunders in the 1974/75 season where we won all of our last 8 games to help us finish 2nd in the Division 2 table, 3 points behind winners Manchester United. We actually won 10 out of the last 11, the only blip being a 1-0 defeat away at Leyton Orient.

Sat Mar 29 Division 2 West Bromwich Albion Home Won 3-1 (Hamilton, Leonard(2)

Tue Apr 1 Division 2 Millwall Away Won 3-1 (Hamilton, Leonard, Little)

Wed Apr 9 Division 2 Cardiff City Home Won 2-0 (Little(2)

Sat Apr 12 Division 2 Oldham Athletic Home Won 5-0 (Little(3), Hamilton, Own Goal)

Sat Apr 19 Division 2 Blackpool Away Won 3-0 (Little, Phillips, Own Goal)

Wed Apr 23 Division 2 Sheffield Wednesday Away Won 4-0 (Little(2), Leonard, Ross)

Sat Apr 26 Division 2 Sunderland Home Won 2-0 (Little, Ross)

Wed Apr 30 Division 2 Norwich City Away Won 4-1 (Gidman, McDonald, Leonard, Carrodus)

10 goals in 8 games for Sir Brian of Little. Legend! He actually only got another 10 goals in the other 34 games to give him a total of 20 for the season, but that was enough for him to finish as the leagues top goal-scorer that year!
