Vital Villa asked, in a poll suggested by sak0101, how the team of 82 should be honoured.

76% said a statue outside Villa Park.

8% said rename the Ellis stand (Witton Stand) the Team of 82.

1% said get the Queen to knight them and a further 1% said a 25th anniversary meal.

That left 14% saying anything, just honour them!

  • I reckon a kind of Hall of Fame at VP so that people can make the pilgrimage from all over the world. I also think that the club should organise a reunion of the 80/81, 81/82 team and they could do the lap of honour to celebrate the dawn of a new era. The
