This summer has certainly turned into the Jack Grealish show.

Rumours about a possible departure for our homegrown talent were already building slowly ahead of news about our perilous financial state and since then speculation has gone into overdrive with a media who should know better tenuously linking him with half of the Premier League and some in the Championship as they fill column inches.

There’s no need for me to rehash the clubs linked or the range of fees suggested but on Monday Jack did tweet a message of support for Harry Kane following his performance for England in our opening World Cup clash.

That led to the typical response of ‘it means he’s off to Spurs and will be playing with him next season’.

Late yesterday evening he was back on twitter again with another simple message.

Pre-season build up is underway, why wouldn’t he be training is the only real take away from the tweet but there are already stories ‘questioning’ what this means for his future.

Is he training hard for the move?
He’s training with us, does it mean he’s staying?
Special mention for our Strength and Conditioning coach, he’s definitely staying!

Neither tweet means anything, that’s the only fact the internet needs to know.
