We’ll have a number of lads on international duty shortly and it seems the list is growing season by season.

Marc Albrighton as covered yesterday will be on duty with the U21’s for his first cap ever and the full response interview can be found by Clicking Here, suffice to say he is thrilled with the honour of being selected by Stuart Pearce.

‘One of the other lads text me last night and said congratulations, I was thinking ‘what for?’ So I turned on Sky Sports and saw it there, I was delighted.’

Shane Lowry will be putting the World Cup disappointment behind him as he’s been selected for the full Australia squad to face Slovenia.

Stiliyan Petrov is back in the Bulgarian side for their Russian clash. John Carew joins up with Norway for their match against France and James Collins will be off to sunny Wales for their Luxembourg clash.

Oh, Brad Guzan will be off over the Atlantic for the USA clash against Brazil.

No not finished yet.

Andreas Weimann will be turning out for the Austrian U21’s against Belarus. Barry Bannan will be adding another Scottish U21 cap as they face Sweden.

Benjamin Siegrist will be showing his face in the Swiss U19’s and they play Yverdon-Sport and as of yet the full England squad hasn’t been announced.

Most matches are taking place on Wednesday, although the England U21 game is on Tuesday.
