With speculation this week on the rumour mill heavily linking us with a move for Egyptian international winger Trezeguet, it’s now being claimed that we have struck a deal with Turkish side Kasimpasa for his transfer.
Villa Find Benrahma Replacement With Egyptian Star According To Reports
Turkish outlet Hurriyet (via Inside Football) have been a regular when it came to speculation updates on our apparent chase for the 24-year-old, so it’s not a surprise to see them leading with the news that we have apparently had an 11million Euro offer accepted and now all that needs to be done are the personal terms before he becomes yet another addition by head coach Dean Smith and Suso this window.
In his two years in the Turkish top flight, he’s played 71 times, returning 25 goals, so we’ll simply have to see how far through that £100million barrier we now go with the number of deals we are supposed to be juggling today.
Some Villa fans may well like the fact that the latest claim is that his parent club didn’t want to sell, but the player made it clear he wanted to complete the move.
