Big game tomorrow for both clubs, who do you see coming out the winner?

Probably a big Newcastle win. Everyone will be made aware a defeat will be the end of the Souness reign, and as the Jock bought most of the players, they won’t know what the future will hold with another manager. I watched Villa on Tuesday evening and I couldn’t believe how bad a Premiership could be. Then I watched Newcastle 24 hours later … and changed my mind.

Both managers are under pressure, which one do you think is the closest to the dreaded axe?

Depends on THIS result. If Newcastle lose – Souness will go – period! I don’t know about O’Leary. To be honest, he was the man I wanted for the Newcastle job. He was deeply upset on Tuesday after the Doncaster game, and rightly so. But both managers cannot get the best out of good players at this moment in time, and both should go. Then I’d take O’Leary.

Do you want to see your manager leave?

Like most other Toon fans, I didn’t want him in the first place! God forbid … Ant & Deck, Gazza and Jimmy Nail had better odds at the bookies than Souness. Nothing that man has done in 14 months has changed my mind. Don’t forget, this is the man who was conned by a phone call and took on an amateur called Ali Di, and played him in a Premiership match without even seeing him play.

Who has been your most outstanding player so far this season?

Shay Given. No other player has even come close to playing what they are capable of.

Who is the teams weakest link?

The ten players stood in front of Shay Given.

So what is your prediction for tomorrow?

It’s make or break … Newcastle 3 Aston Villa 0.
