Vital Villa asked in our last poll:

Is 4th all that matters?

Yes apparenlty! 57% voted yes.

28% went for the ‘We should have a big enough squad by now’ and 13% voted ‘No, cups are important as well.’

That left 2% baffled voting ‘Who knows!’

Come on then, win, lose or draw, what is your prediction for the game tomorrow? (And be honest!!!)

  • I assume it would go to ET and pens tomorrow if we are drawing, if not I’ll have to change the poll ! I know 2-2 wins it for us due to the away goal rule. If we draw 1-1 then it is still even stevens.

  • I thought under the new ruling, any kind of draw will take it to extra time and the away goals only come into it after extra time’s been played? They mess these things about so much I really don’t know but I know this happened earlier in the season in a Spurs game. Don’t know what competition it was though.

  • but surely PTP if it is 1-1 after extra time it would have to be pens? ie it ends up 1 away goal and 1 home goal each from both games?

  • cool, offer doesn’t include poppadoms though, I’m not made of money you know! Come on JC and Sidwell, I fancy a nice curry!

  • Oi Fear me old f a r t – you’re supposed to be coming over to mine for a home made traditional indian (paksitani) curry – remember when we were doing the VFC stuff? We’ll have to arrange it before I go back to Turkey.

  • Moscow will take the opportunity to give us a pasting me thinks. Good run out for the kids though, a Champions league team! Gulp!

  • Be glad when the CSKA game is over. 8 threads and hundreds of comments, it seems like the bloody transfer window again.

  • That’s the spirit olafthegreat!! 100% behind the team. No matter who plays aslong as they give the proverbial Ron Saunders 110% I will be happy – win or lose – aslong as they try their best and be proud to wear the shirt and give their all – maybe just maybe – playing without fear (not THE Fear) they may come away with a positive result. No matter what the result I will be proud that they put on a show. The kids just might do it.
