With loan transfer window closing this coming Friday, Aston Villa are hugely involved in the last dregs of the rumour mill and centre-half remains a hot topic for debate.
Villa have been linked with a move for 20-year-old Le Harve defender Harold Moukoudi.
It’s claimed we have made a 9million Euro offer for the player and he’d join us on loan with the permanent deal coming into play next January and he is in his final 12 months of his contract with the French club.
right let’s get this wrapped up then lads, we love a French player

He was on the bench for Le Harve last night in the cup. He plays every week for them in the league doubt they would let him go.

He doesn't want to leave France

The Birmingham Mail deal with loose speculation linking us with a deal for Gary Cahill and whilst it would be nice to square that circle, I can’t see the 32-year-old dropping into the Championship yet.
As the Mail report, manager Maurizio Sarri speaks about fitness levels, so it doesn’t sound like he’s not in his plans really. But maybe a short loan spell is the thought – assuming there’s any truth to this speculation.
Finally another centre back…who's gonna get to watch Jedinak consistently take his place in the team. At least he'll play in the cup gam…maybe not

Gary Cahill would be better option

With Tommy Elphick again slowly turning into a forgotten man at Villa Park with Mile Jedinak preferred in defence, the Mail also cover his future.
By the sounds of things, Bree has now got ahead of him at CB. Really don't know what he has to do in order for Bruce to play him short of taking out the entire squad of defenders & midfielders

He may as well as he would sooner play the cleaner at CB that him

It’s going to be a busy few days on a speculation front is my guess, and most of them will be completely baseless.
