“It Absolutely Feels Like” A Match Made In Heaven As Loanee Talks About Villa Spell

|

With another solid, albeit late, victory over Sheffield Wednesday for head coach Dean Smith’s Aston Villa side, preparations continue given we face Rotherham United later this evening with Play-Off promotion very much in our hands once again.

Having made it six wins on the spin in recent weeks, another three points tonight would see us take a significant advantage over Middlesbrough and the other clubs that have already notched up their 41st game of the year, and this week, on loan Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings was the man in the hot seat for the Official Site’s big interview.

Covering a few topics from his arrival at the club, to how Tommy Elphick helped him settle in and what you can call more run of the mill types of questions, fans will love his answer to whether or not he felt he was a match made in heaven with Villa.

“It absolutely feels like that. It feels perfect. I said when I first signed here that I felt myself and the club were at similar stages, in terms of wanting to getting back to where we both feel we should be. For us to both help each other achieve that, I think, is important. Now I have come here, seen the facilities, interacted with the players, worked with the coaches, bonded with the fans, I feel I’ve definitely made the right choice.”

Mings has already been very active on social media, talking to the fans and sending out his own little messages and plenty have already highlighted him as the major signing we need to make (despite only having a matching offer clause on his loan) and I imagine those calls will only become greater.
