Following yesterday evening’s 1-0 victory over Cardiff City at Villa Park, one man in particular was taking the headlines for his 85th minute strike.
Step forward Mr Jack Grealish.

It wasn’t just the fans that erupted as the ball left his foot.

Shame we couldn’t have seen Neil Warnock’s face at that moment!
With Jack criticised by some for his lack of an end product, in 24 games in the season of 2017/18 he has now contributed three goals and four assists. He’s also now scored in back to back matches following his consolation effort against Norwich City in the previous game so he’s coming along nicely for us now and long may that continue.
Fans certainly weren’t slow to come forward in their response to the goal.
I live for moments like these #avfc

Prince William certainly picked the right game to be at as he snuck in last night and somebody whose bigger than you and me appeared to like Grealish’s effort as well.
And we'll leave you with this…@JackGrealish1's wonder goal getting the royal seal of approval 👏#AVFC pic.twitter.com/f8uqxSGPkK

The thoughts of the man himself have also received a positive reaction from fans.
Brilliant performance last night from the boys & a much needed win! Nice to get the winner & see villa park rocking! Another important game Friday #AVFC ⚽️💪🏻 pic.twitter.com/wtCxaxBG1f

Another massive match next on Friday evening as we host Leeds United and I can’t be alone in hoping Jack makes it three from three, even if it’s not quite as spectacular as that effort.
