Tierney says:
Having been there, I would say my thoughts probably match most of what has been mentioned here. In terms on the starting XI, it was what I thought might happen (the biggest shock being Bruce persuading Snoddy to play on the other side). On a side note, Axel was without doubt our MotM as Sessegnon offered nothing until he went inside. We were always going to lack more creativity and be a bit more dig deep. But other than O’Hare I’m not sure what else was possible and he was never getting thrown in that environment. I was saying to those around me exactly what Bruce said post-match in that the match would be decided by the first goal.

A disappointed Steve Bruce spoke to the media following the defeat to Fulham, and whilst he was rightly frustrated with the result and the performance, perspective left him looking at the bigger picture.
The Daily Mail were one of the first to cover Bruce’s post game press conference on Saturday evening and they praised him for the manner of his attitude in defeat and the words he had for our hosts on the day.

The murky world of £ootball. With the amount of money in the game now, fans (who contribute massively to this ‘product’)should pay far less to attend.Loads of empty seats hardly sells the vision of ‘best league in the world’ does it?! Hadn’t thought of lack of transparecny though

Yes,obvious he won’t be used by us now. Think MLS is about the only place he could now go as the rules of only being able to be at 2 clubs doesn’t apply over there. Once we got Grabban it showed he’s got no chance of getting over Gate-gate and feature for Villa again.
