Carlos Cuellar’s pie follows hot on the heels of the Petrov Pie promotion, and Cure Leukaemia will again benefit from the sales.
For our final home game of the season, fans have voted to try a Chorizo sausage, spicy patatas bravas and chicken erm pie.
I’m not quite sure what I make of that myself, but Cuellar told the Official Site that he was honoured to have the pie produced in his name knowing that proceeds would again go to charity:
‘It’s an honour to have a pie named after me by Villa fans, and I am immensely proud that it will be helping a charity like Cure Leukaemia. Stan is our captain and our friend and we all want to do as much as we can to help him fight his illness. Cure Leukaemia does great work with people with Stan’s condition and this money will help them with their great cause.’
The Petrov pie was a great success and sold out, and Carlos’ pies will also see Cure Leukaemia receive 50p for every one sold.
