Aston Villa’s reported chase of Jack Butland isn’t the only transfer saga we’ve seen on the rumour mill this summer as the chase for Trezeguet certainly ticks the boxes.
It’s been a strange old summer for Aston Villa fans, and the club have certainly been active in the transfer market as we look to strengthen the group and plug gaps ahead of our first year back in the Premier League given all the players who departed over the summer but our interest in Trezeguet has now seen reports claim that we’ve agreed a deal at least two, maybe three times.
Villa Reportedly Agree 11m Deal For 24 y/o – Announcement Expected Over The Weekend
With claims that we’ve agreed an 11million Euro fee twice, along with some reports of a 15million Euro offer being accepted, as I said previously, the last update from Trtspor read to me more like personal terms had been agreed this time and not the deal with the club itself, but it’s certainly left some fans bored and confused. Some even doubtful of our interest given how under the radar most of our captures have been.
I guess we’ll know by Monday, maybe Tuesday at the latest, as if this latest round was personal terms and the deal with the club has already been done, there shouldn’t be any more delays.
it’s like butland all over again
