James Bree – Bruce Was A Major Factor In Me Signing

So, the Villa have announced two signings: 100% & 100% Two New Aston Villa Signings Done

The first is 19-year-old full-back James Bree from Barnsley.

He has signed a four and a half year deal.

The Barnsley Academy product said on the official site how delighted he is to have joined Aston Villa.

We were lucky enough to have a quick chat with him when the FCG met Steve Bruce. Seemed a top lad and very excited at the prospect of signing.

He said: “I`ve been at Barnsley since I was young and it`s helped me develop. I will always be grateful. I`m joining a massive club and hopefully I can bring something to this team.“

Adding that Steve Bruce was a major part of his decision to make the move. “….when I met him I knew it was the right move for me.”

He also has a nod to the fantastic facilities at Bodymoor… We told him yesterday just wait until you step onto the pitch at Villa Park.
