Agent hogwash.

I repeat, agent hogwash!

According to Javier Saviola’s agent, the striker has turned down a move to Villa Park.

The other day the same agent was talking up the chance of a move. I hate agents!!! Alfredo Cabrera Brizuela said: ‘The propositions are important, but Javier wants another level.’ According to Sky Sports Racing Santander are now apparently favourites. Rubbish, another level and you turn down Villa for Racing? I think not! Also the former River Plate hot-shot is mates with Angel, I’m sure IF we’d gone for him, he’d have come.

  • I’m getting frustrated we won’t get anyone other than Petrov. I’m sure it’s not MON’s fault but hope has been raised perhaps too much considering the time MON had to do some deals.

  • Just agents prostituting their clients to get the best price. They should be called pimps not agents. Not that I’m bitter.

  • i posted a reply yesterday , on the icbrimingham site when i was reading about the petrov deal it did say that villa have distanced themselves away from the saviola rumour, and the agent was just trying to engineer a move, i did say, i hope we sign so

  • It’s not the club’s lost. It’s the player’s. A Villa will end up top of the table and might even challenge for UEFA spot. MO Neill is your man!

  • If MON confirms he was actually in for Saviola, then yes, I’ll believe it. Until then I’m afraid, I’ll treat it as utter and total b/s.

  • Transfer deadline over now – is it confirmed no other signings as I know some of them are anounced the next morning?

  • Agreed Tierney, we have to take into account that our whole team are new players to MON, Baros could be like a new signing, and then there is Laurson, but thats not all, MON is in charge and our boys look like a completely new team, so do not judge us on

  • why would an argentinian come to england with our climate and he doesnt speak a word of english he wants weather he also sed no to bolton earlier in the summer
