Jlloyd Samuel – Cliché Warning!

Jlloyd Samuel says he has spoken with Martin O’Neill and is now ‘very positive’ about his future.

The 25-year-old left back, who is out of contract in the summer, told the official site:

‘I have spoken briefly to Martin O’Neill about my future at the club and it was all very positive. It was good to be a sub again and get that little bit closer to playing for the first team. It finished 0-0, which was a great result in the end and a good performance from all the lads. To gain a point and take two away from Chelsea is fantastic and in terms of confidence we really needed it.’

He also told his icons site that he feels his level is the premiership and that is where he intends to stay ‘whether it’s at Villa or somewhere else’.

Get him fit and raring to go and – get ready for the cliché – it would be like a new signing for us!
