John Carew Making ‘Good Progress’

The official site have at last updated the injury situation over John Carew following a number of rumours and reports that the striker could be out for longer than feared.

Villa boss Martin O’Neill said:

‘Some comments came out at the weekend suggesting John would be out for the rest of the season. That is not the case. He is making good progress at the moment, but I can’t give you any specifics about what day or week he might be back. The treatment is going very well indeed and we hope he will be back sooner rather than later.’
