It looks like Lee Hendrie could be soon on his way as John Gregory’s QPR have now joined Crystal palace and several other clubs looking for a loan move for the Villa midfielder

Martin O’Neill told the official site:

‘There are a number of teams who are looking to take him on loan and I wouldn’t want to betray confidences by naming them. John Gregory has enquired about him. He played for the reserves last night; we will see how fit he is because it is all about games with him. If he wants to give himself a chance of getting into the first team then he’ll want to get himself as fit as possible.’

Adding, ‘I wasn’t the one who instigated the possibility of him going out on loan, it seemed as if his agent wanted that, but even so I am not in disagreement with him because he can go, wherever that may be, and get games. We’ll know more later today. Crystal Palace have maintained an interest and everybody is just waiting until he gets fit, and then hopefully he’ll be able to prove a point.’

  • Steff.. as i understand it Lee Hendrie is a confirmed blue nose. A pal of mine has drank in the same social circle as him, and says he’s often heard Lee state it uncategorically himself. Either way, I’m a firm believer that he’s wasted his talent, his b
