Worry not Villa fans, it appears Juan Pablo Angel will not face any action over last nights elbowing of Sheffield United skipper Chris Morgan.
According to Sky referee Mark Halsey has confirmed he saw the incident and decided to take no action.
Therefore the FA can take no further action against the Villa striker.
I must admit, although this works in our favour this time, I’d like a video panel to look at incidents again that the ref either see’s or misses. Why not give players suspensions for diving etc? For violent conduct and other incidents? Might stamp some of the cheating out of the game and takes the pressure off the refs a little?
