The Word On The Tweet

“Just Pay £100m” “Can’t See Him Coming” – Villa Fans Needs Patience As We Chase Key Promotion Man’s Signature

With Bournemouth centre-half Tyrone Mings having a fantastic second half of the 2018/19 campaign as he effectively vice skippered us to Wembley at the Championship Play-Off Final, the vast majority of Aston Villa fans are desperately waiting to hear official confirmation of his permanent arrival at B6 as we prepare for the coming Premier League campaign.

The 26-year-old has in no way hidden how much he enjoyed his spell with us, stating it has ‘refreshed’ his career after his injury struggles at Dean Court.

Villa Fans Will Love Loanees Two Word Answer To All Important Question

And having already commented to fans that he would “hopefully’ stay with us, if we needed further proof we got it from the Wembley celebrations, the fact he turned back up at Bournemouth still in his match day kit and the various Tweets and comments he’s had with the likes of Jack Grealish.

The problem is we simply having a matching fee clause on the deal, so Bournemouth will be holding out for the highest sum possible and that simply means there will be delay, but for me, it’s not a delay that’s worth worrying about.

As each day passes, the fee that Bournemouth want to make a deal happen immediately naturally drops and although it could run until deadline day (remember the Premier League transfer window closes before the first game) I don’t think it will, but even if it did, he knows the club, most of the players, he doesn’t need to settle in.

Patience folks.
