So The Mirror’s reporter Darren Lewis says that Spurs are willing to let 30-year-old striker Robbie Keane move to Villa in order for him to get Craig Bellamy from Manchester City.

The report says that Keano is on the USA tour with Spurs (I’m seeing part of that in New York next week… along with Juan Pablo Angel’s New York Red Bulls… interesting fact? No, ok, just a boast! LOL) and won’t be allowed to go out on loan again next season. (He scored 16 goals in 19 games and was Celtic’s player of the season through a loan last season).

The Mirror also say that Martin O’Neill will be for Manchester City midfielder Stephen Ireland.

The Mirror say Villa have slapped a … and I quote whopping £4m price tag on Nigel Reo-Coker. Why is that whopping? He cost us over £7million and is only 26-years-old and is a useful player. Blackburn and Bolton are said to have been put off by the price? WHAT?

James Milner to Manchester City? Not heard that rumour before! ;o) The Telegraph say that Milner won’t be drawn on the subject, Villa do still want to keep him and re-negotiate his contract but that Man City hope to compromise on price with a bid of around £25million.

Steve Sidwell has apparently agreed a £2m move to Fulham after they appointed Martin Jol (good manager that) as their new manager.
