Gabor Kiraly has joined Villa on loan and teamed up with the rest of the squad this morning.

The 30-year-old Hungarian international shot stopper, who will make his debut for Villa against Bolton tomorrow, told the official site:

‘Peter Taylor called me into his office yesterday morning and said Aston Villa have a problem with their goalkeepers and could I help. I did the same thing for West Ham two weeks ago and I am happy to help out over what is a busy time in the Premiership. Villa are doing very well this season and I am happy to come and help out. Of course I must quickly learn some names. But I will train today and quickly get to know people.’

‘My first game in the Premier League came against Aston Villa. So for me Villa Park is a very special stadium. It was a special day for me and the fans from my Hungarian city were behind the goal to see my debut. Now I am looking forward to my Aston Villa debut. I am 30-years-old and not a young goalkeeper any more.I can try to help and hopefully help Aston Villa to a few wins.’

‘It is good to play in the Premier League again and good to play for a team doing very well this season. Hopefully that will continue tomorrow.’

Kiraly is said to be quite a character………… gulp!
