BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson is backing Villa for a 2-1 win. To be fair, he has had more right than wrong this season I think, although last week’s Villa win v Burnley ended up wrong as we only drew 1-1.

Adding, ‘Villa dropped points at Burnley last week, while Tottenham had an unbelievable 9-1 win over Wigan. It’s going to be close, but being as Villa are at home I’ll go for Martin O’Neill’s side.’
Would loved him to explain the pretenders jibe a bit more, why are we pretenders to the throne, when did Liverpool last win the Premier League?! Oh yes, that is right, never!
