In the meantime, BBC pundit and moustache fancier Mark Lawrenson has tipped Villa for a 2-0 win at Goodison Park.
He’s actually been right more than he’s been wrong with Villa this season I think and has been quite positive about us which makes a nice change!
He told the BBC site that Everton appear to have run out of gas, adding: ‘They are not playing particularly badly but they do not look like they are going to create any chances or score goals. In contrast, Villa are in a rich vein of form and have been buoyed by the number of goals they have scored of late – and by their hammering of neighbours Birmingham last week.’
