Mark Lawrenson, after getting stung predicting a Villa win v Spurs last week, has opted for a 2-0 win for Liverpool against us at Anfield today (4pm kick off, Sky Sports 1)
The BBC pundit said:
‘There is a massive feel-good factor at Anfield. They’ve had three marvellous results, are in the next round of the Champions League, are back in the title race and their manager has just signed a new contract. If you look at Villa, results are going against them, they are struggling to score and, would you believe, their own supporters booed them last week which I find quite amazing as they’ve had a fine season. With all that in mind I’m going for a Liverpool victory.’

Meanwhile Martin O’Neill told AVTV:
“Results have knocked confidence – but it is far from destroyed. It has been lost a little so we need to regroup now. We have 10 matches remaining and I have an idea of the amount of games we would need to win to give ourselves a real proper chance {of finishing 4th}. We are going to go and try and win at Anfield. We are capable of doing that, definitely.”
Hopefully Murph will be along later with the previews to beat all previews..!
