Nottingham Forest attacker Joe Lolley has had a good rise through the football pyramid in recent years and he’s had a good season at the City Ground with the 26-year-old boyhood Aston Villa fan scoring eleven times, and contributing eleven assists in the Championship campaign of 2018/19.

His additional improvement this year has already seen plenty of Villa fans call for him to make the switch to Villa Park over the summer with lingering concerns about the future of Jack Grealish, but his fan loyalties aren’t in question and he admirably proved that once again on Tuesday evening.

With Villa making the short trip to The Hawthorns for the Championship Play-Off Semi-Final second leg against West Bromwich Albion, Lolley managed to have a pop at both Chris Brunt and dire referee Chris Kavanagh and it only took eleven words.

Not only did it receive the seal of approval for many, it also summed up their thoughts on the performance of the referee.
