Looks like Martin Laursen’s initial optimism might not have born fruit.

Laursen said yesterday he was hoping to be out for no more than three weeks but Martin O’Neill has confirmed the Danish international defender has picked up medial ligament damage and could be out for between 10 weeks and anything up to three months.

I’m sure all at Vital Villa send Martin all our best wishes, he is a fighter, he’ll be back.
