Martin O’Neill On Wigan Striker Emile Heskey

Martin O’Neill has been talking about Emile Heskey who Villa will face tomorrow at the JJB. O’Neill, who managed the big man at Leicester City said:

With his contract up in the summer, and with the way he is playing for Wigan and England, it would be difficult not to see him pushed back in the limelight. That’s down to him, and to Steve Bruce, who has had a very good influence on his career, and Emile has warmed to that.’

Meanwhile, despite not being able to find the quotes online, it appears Martin Laursen has said he would welcome the Wigan striker if he reunited with MON.
