Aston Villa youngster Harry McKirdy signed a new deal with the club on Monday.
The 20 year old joined us back in 2013 as a scholar having been on Stoke City’s books as a youngster, and he has gone on to become a regular in our Under 23 set up – also taking in a spell with Stevenage last season where he made seven starting appearances, with a further six showings from the bench.
During his time at the Lamex Stadium, he scored twice in gmes against Brighton U23s in the EFL Trophy and registered his first League goal in their game against Mansfield Town.
Having impressed at the Hong Kong Soccer 7s tournament over the summer, he was also involved with the first team over pre season.
He has signed a two year extension keeping him with us until the summer of 2019.
