Well this makes for pleasant reading. Despite some thinking that Milan Baros is looking to leave Villa Park, his agent says the Czech Republic striker is not unhappy.

Mind you, ‘not unhappy’ doesn’t exactly say he is ‘happy’ does it? I must admit, I think he has the potential to be awesome, I’m just not sure the Premier League is the right stage for him and in some ways, his agent questions the same.

Pavel Paska said: ‘Milan was still struggling three months after the World Cup and went straight into the team without having a pre-season. He knows he has to work hard and that will take some time, because football in England is very physical. I don’t think it is right to use the term ‘unhappy’ in this situation. The player knows he has a contract and that he has to perform well, so he cannot be unhappy.’

‘He can be angry, for example, when he is not playing, but then he has to train harder. I was in England to watch Aston Villa’s home game against Fulham – full house, fantastic atmosphere. I cannot imagine a player would be unhappy in such conditions.’

He added to Sky Sports News that Baors is at a crucial part of his career, he’ll either remain all potential or he’ll fulfil his promise:

‘Popularity and money often get ahead of sporting progress. I think this is the point when his career will go either in a good way or a bad way, but he is 25 and I have no doubts that he will reach the top of his ability in two years’ time.’
