Mixed Emotions For Lambert

Paul Lambert has said we should have been out of sight following our first half display against Albion.

Speaking to the Official Site after we surrendered our lead in the final 10 minutes of the derby game, Lambert explained:

‘I thought we were excellent in the first half. We should have been out of sight, it should have been finished. Four up. That would’ve killed the game. In the second half West Brom came out strongly but you expect that. It was disappointing not to win the game because we should have been finished in the first half, but the game is never over until it’s over.’

As for the subs which left quite a few fans baffled going off the comments I’ve read, Lambert added:

‘Charles is a real talents. I would like to see him shoot more because he has the ability. He was excellent. He wasn’t injured when I bought him off, he’s back from a long lay off so you have to watch him. We have games coming up, we lost Fabian to an injury and Nathan too.’

As of yet there is no more details on the severity of their injuries, but after getting a couple of players back, the last thing we need now is too lose a few more.
