Oh no, the transfer gossip continues! Don’t panic, it is only about a loan!
Apparently, according to a report in The Mirror Marlon Harewood might join Newcastle United on loan next week.
Makes sense, hope this goes through for him as he clearly isn’t anywhere near first team contention for Villa, actually, come to think of it, he isn’t even in reserve contention, he’s not that bad is he?
Anyway, they claim that the 30-year-old could be on the way up t’north after a potential move to Hull fell through on transfer deadline day.

Lisa Smith in the The Birmingham Post has a report explaining why the deal fell through.
His move to Hull all hinged on Daniel Cousin moving to Burnley but that move didn’t materialise.
The report quotes Harewood’s agent “Having taken the call from Hull boss Phil Brown I really thought the deal was going to happen, but that’s football and this is what can happen on deadline day.’
He also says that Big Marlon will ‘bounce back’ from this blow.
