Football Agent Simon Kennedy has told BBC Sport that Collymore might consider a return to Villa Park!

‘Stan is a busy boy but what he would really be interested in is Premiership football. He believes he can still ply his trade at the highest level. But people are uncertain about taking a risk on him and, for Stan, the structure and management needs to be right.’

Adding, ‘Stan considers Martin O’Neill, who he worked with at Leicester, to be the archetypal manager. He would love the opportunity to work for someone like Martin again. If that transpired then we would have to see what happens. We get clubs ringing all the time asking whether Stan will consider coming back to football. He is fit, free and only 35. He is not closed to the idea of football – if the right offer came along.’
