“My Boy” “Make Him Captain” – These Villa Fans Love Midfielders News

|

With 14 Scotland caps to his name already, as squads start seeing announcements for the coming September international break, it’s really not a surprise to see Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn called back into the group for their games.

Having seriously impressed fans with his efforts during our Play-Off winning run last year, the 24-year-old has also made a decent adjustment to the Premier League as in three matches, he’s already chipped in with a goal and an assist, and it can only be the first of many more this year.

With Scotland confirming their group for the upcoming games against Russia and Belgium, fans weren’t surprised with Steve Clarke’s decision and it’s obvious to many that he could potentially be their lynchpin for years to come, especially as he gets further experience under his belt and continues to mature as a player.

Just don’t get injured would be my message.
