Lawro and Mystic Mug are both 1-1 on the correct results (but not score). They both failed at Fulham, they both succeeded in predicting a Villa win v Blackburn. Neither can really be deemed a genius for that!

This week, Villa are home to Wolves.

Mystic Mug says 2-0 to the Villa and also warns Villa ‘don`t you dare not get us full points this weekend, we owe Wolves and some players owe us after last years total no show`… harsh… but fair.

Lawro, he says a 1-1 draw.

He told the BBC site: “This is another early-season derby, between two teams who look in good shape. Wolves have made a perfect start and Villa’s has not been bad either, especially at home. In their win over Blackburn last weekend, Gabriel Agbonlahor reminded us what a good player he is and, even though they have lost Ashley Young and Stewart Downing, Villa still have a cutting edge up front. Wolves showed again against Fulham that they are a much better team than they were this time last year. As well as the players Mick McCarthy has brought in, some of the ones who are already there seem to have realised they are good enough for the Premier League. Both of them are still unbeaten so far, and I can see them staying that way for a bit longer.”

My new mate Kevin Reid from the The Great Football Experiment says 3-2 to the Villa. (Hence I`m calling him a mate, I`ll not tell you what I`d have called him if he`d said otherwise!)

Kev said:

“I think both teams have started well, and both are going up points in the spreads after their good starts. I personally bought wolves this season and sold Villa so they are offsetting each other at the moment. Wolves are a team on the up with Ohara being an absolute bargain in my opinion and them looking like a good unit. Although im a big fan of N’Zogbia i think that they lost 2 of their key men last year and he is not quite good enough to cover for the loss of both. I can see goals in this game tho… id go 3-2 either way, but if i had to say, considering villa are at home id go 3-2 Villa.”
