A loyal football player, whatever next!

West Bromwich Albion’s Zoltan Gera has dismissed links to a Hawthorne’s exit despite links to Aston Villa, Wigan and Everton.

The midfielder told Sky Sports ‘I have a contract with West Brom for one more year and I start training with West Brom soon.’ Adding ‘Yeah I think so I will stay. After this season I spoke with the manager and he said he wants all the players to stay at West Brom and we want to go up again to the Premier League.’

The Hungarian missed much of the season with injuries which had a massive impact on the Baggies. His contribution the season before was a major factor in them staying up. Nice to see some loyalty, even if it does mean we won’t get exactly what we need, a playmaker!
