No round badge for Villa?

The club have announced a new Club crest will be unveiled later this month after a survey of 4500 fans were consulted. Within the survey 76% of fans voted for a change.

Doesn’t look like it will be a round one though, which to be fair I thought would be an absolute shoe in vote wise, as 51% voted to retain the shield. Bloody democracy! 😉

80% asked for a star to be included IN the badge as the club aren’t allowed to put a star to show we are European Cup winners above it.

63% said there should be a motto alongside the crest, hopefully the motto remains Prepared.

Other results announced on the official site were: Lion – Gold together 43%, Background Colour – Sky Blue 42%, Wording – AVFC 38%

Would have been nice to see the total breakdown results for all the options.
