Sky Sports News are reporting that Leicester City are considering a move for Jack Grealish. The TV station say their sources are telling them that we will only be looking to sell our no.10 for £40m.

Manchester United and Arsenal are also believed to be monitoring Jack’s situation but it seems as though the Foxes are the leading candidate for the midfielder.

Fans on Twitter are debating whether £40m is a fair price for the 22-year-old:

Verdict:

As I said in a piece yesterday, considering the lack of other options to make up the £30m -£40m shortfall in our finances, the sale of Grealish has to be considered.

Nobody wants it to happen but if Leicester do offer up a large slice of their funds from the £60m sale of Riyad Mahrez to Manchester City, we will have to listen to their offer.

The final decision would still be up to the player though, and I don’t envy the choice he would have to make.
