Not getting much luck with the injury situation this season are we? From what I can gather Jack Grealish is suffering from a slight calf problem. He might be available, or will at least be assessed before Tuesdays game v Preston North End.

The news on Uncle Albert isn`t quite as good. He has a hamstring injury and will be “out for a while” according to Steve Bruce.

Bruce said on the pair: “It`s a hamstring (Adomah) and we can`t really rush it. Jack, we will see how he is – he was nowhere near on Friday. We will see how he is tomorrow.”

“Nowhere near” doesn`t sound too promising does it?

And for those that were questioning why Andre Green wasn`t brought into action to replace our two playmakers for the away match v Fulham , it appears the only luck this young man gets at the moment is bad.

Andre has picked up another hamstring injury, this time on the opposite leg to the one that had to be operated on. Green was out for three months following an op on his right hamstring. Now he has a left hamstring problem.

I hope the 19-year-old is just going through some early career problems, not career threatening problems. I just have the feeling if he can get and remain fit, Green could be an absolute superstar.
