Petrov – The Villa Goals Will Come

Stiliyan Petrov says his first goal for Aston Villa isn’t far away.

The midfielder went close again at Goodison Park only to be foiled by Toffees keeper Tim Howard (bloody American’s !!! 😉 on Saturday but Petrov says:

‘As long as you have chances, you try and you work hard, the goals will come. When? We’ll see. I forced a couple of saves on Saturday but that’s football. A lot of people keep asking me when I will score for Villa and all I can say is that the goal will come. I will keep trying and it will come.’

I’d be more worried with Petrov’s lack of goals if he was a striker like Baros who looks like he couldn’t buy a goal at the moment.
