Proof against Chelsea and Blackburn!

Great, I’ve finally got proof that Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers ARE dirty dirty teams! Sorry Hughes Da Man from Vital Blackburn, you can’t argue with me now, you are bottom of the Fair Play League! I’m surprised to see the revolting Wigan not bottom in truth, but hey ho, maybe they don’t add points for having a gobby whinging manager! This also proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Chelsea are the most hated club in the Prem and owned by a nasty piece of work. Not totally sure how it proves that, but I’m sure if you give me enough time I’ll come up with it. (Sorry Merlin!)

Villa are second behind Spurs, so we could still be in contention for entry to the Uefa via the fair play league if Spurs qualify how we hopefully will (again) in the future, via the league or winning the competition. As Martin O’Neill says: ‘I wouldn’t be holding my breath on that, because there are too many imponderables. In future time the best thing to do would be to finish fifth, sixth or seventh.’

Tottenham Hotspur 8.54

Aston Villa 8.53

Liverpool 8.49

Manchester United 8.49

Charlton 8.48

Watford 8.43

Reading 8.40

Arsenal 8.38

Fulham 8.27

Sheffield United 8.23

Portsmouth 8.23

Chelsea 8.18

West Ham United 8.16

Newcastle United 8.11

Wigan 8.07

Everton 7.98

Middlesbrough 7.97

Manchester City 7.93

Bolton Wanderers 7.76

Blackburn Rovers 7.59

The official site explained: Under Uefa rules, countries who finish with a Fair Play coefficient of 8.00 or above, will be allocated a place in a draw for two extra places in the Uefa Cup first qualifying round (to be played in the second half of July 2007). At the moment 11 countries have reached this standard, but the top country (currently Sweden) will be given an automatic Uefa Cup spot. That means 10 sides will be entered into the draw – giving Villa a one in five chance.

The top club will also win £30 000, which is nice!
