Villa will be looking to work hard in the coming days as the international break takes centre-stage before we head back to Championship action.
Things in the second-tier have been rather tense this season but heading into the home stretch things are nicely in our hands indeed.
Certainly, there is plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks whilst the summer window will also be interesting for us too.
Indeed, there might be cause to suggest that a deal for Leroy Fer could still be on, if the club remains interested in him.
Sky Sports suggested towards the end of the January window that we were trying to get a deal done for him but it did, of course, fall flat at the last minute.
However, as per the Birmingham Mail, he is a free agent in the summer with no deal with Swansea yet agreed and that could encourage us to make a move.
Certainly, he’d be a good player for us and it’s something I’d like to see us explore.
