Richard Dunne has taken his turn to back the manager valiantly today.

Speaking to the Official Site after all the negative press this week, Dunney is the next in line to explain how good a manager Alex is off the pitch.

‘Alex is a good man, he wants the club to do really well. He’s here all day doing absolutely everything he can to try and get things right. He talks to every player and wants their feedback to see what we can do to improve things. He’s trying 100%, he treats us with great respect and treats men like men.’

Dunne adds that McLeish is fair after games, if a player has done well he will praise them and give them a pat on the back, if they’ve had a mare he’ll be honest about it.

‘You need to give the manager time, he has a fierce will to win. He needs time to put his stamp on the team and build a squad and team to challenge, you can’t bring success overnight.’

Petrov, Given and now Dunne…I wonder who next?
