Nottingham Forest legend Kenny Burns has blasted Ross McCormack in an article on www.nottinghampost.com

You remember Ross? Yeah, you do, he was allegedly the Villa striker bought from Fulham who was going to get us up this year after we paid a fortune to buy him from Fulham. No? Well he was a bit non descript on the pitch to be fair. The man with the gate? Ah you remember now. Oh and by the way, the electric gates do have a manual override, I was sad enough to go and find out!

Anyway, at the time of gate-gate (?) Bruce made it clear in a BBC report:

‘He is nowhere near fit enough to play and be involved. I don’t think he’s in a physical shape or state to contribute. Unless his attitude towards everything changes, he’s not going to be picked.’

So he was loaned out to Nottingham Forest.

Seems his lack of interest in his own career or lack of respect for the wages he is being paid has continued.

Burns questions his attitude.

“The manager has changed since then and so have the tactics, but I’ve never been convinced by the attitude of some of the players in the current squad.” Adding, “I looked at Ross McCormack in particular and I think he needs to buck his ideas up.”

He goes on to say McCormack never looks ‘up for it`. “He’s only here on loan until the summer and you sometimes see players come in and not approach their best form in those circumstances. That’s what I’ve seen so far. He’s a better player than he showed at Burton. At least I hope he is.”

Wake up Ross, stop blaming everyone else or thinking the world is against you.
