There are a few very sketchy reports on some of the Scottish sites suggesting that Villa have signed Celtic forward Shaun Maloney on a pre-contract so he can join Villa Park in the summer.
The 24-year-old Scotland international has been linked ever since Martin O’Neill joined Villa and Celtic have failed to tie the hot shot to a long term deal.
According to one report Villa and Celtic will try to agree a fee so he can join us before the transfer window closes tonight at midnight, if not we’ll have to wait for his contract to end in the summer with the Parkhead outfit.
The new Andy Gray then? Wouldn’t that be a treat!
