Shay Given You Naughty Bhoy!!!

Little bit of a nothing story really but also, fairly badly timed and a bit rude to the Villa fans.



Shay Given, only last week advising the fans of our great manager etc, has told the Daily Star he is happy at Villa but would love to play for Celtic before his career ends.

Well, at 36, I wonder how long that is, 4 years? If so, fine, we have him another couple and then off he goes.

However, not sure the players when contracted to one club need to really talk about their wonderlust for another?



‘Never say never. I`m very happy at Villa but in football you should never close any doors. And there`s an outside chance it could happen.”

You see, that sort of says to me, ‘this place is ok, if I can though, I`ll jump ship!`
